Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as IET, is a premier institute for higher education in Alwar, Rajasthan. The college is the first self-financed institute of the state. Established in 1998, the college holds the distinction of being an ISO 9001:2000 certified institute. Moreover, it is the first private engineering institute of Rajasthan.
Institute of Engineering & Technology Alwar has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to conduct technical courses at the undergraduate level. The college is promoted by All India Society for Advance Education & Research, New Delhi. IET Alwar is permanently affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

70% admissions will be through RPETEAP, 15% through AIEEE,15% through Management Quota and 10% Lateral Entry at IInd Year for Diploma Holders.
