Ichalkaranji Shikshan Shastra Mahavidyalaya, located in Kolhapur (Maharashtra), started its first academic session in 1990-1991. The educational institution is affiliated to Shivaji University and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhopal. The autonomous college, which works under the guidance and sponsorship of Jaywantrao Awale Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, conducts one year of full-time undergraduate degree level Bachelor of Education (B.
