Situated in Mumbai (Maharashtra), Guru Nanak Institute Of Management Studies was established by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), which is a Sikh governing body. The college started functioning in 2002. It is recognized by the All India council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to University of Mumbai. With an ISO 9001:2000 certification, Guru Nanak Institute Of Management Studies offers several courses in the field of management studies, at the postgraduate level. The courses are available in both full time and part time. The college conducts the courses strictly as per the guidelines of AICTE.

Eligibility:
Post Graduate Diploma:
The candidates must have done graduation in any stream, from any recognized University. The candidates waiting for results may also apply.
Post Graduate:
For the full time program, the aspirant should have completed graduation with minimum 45% marks (40% for Maharashtra's backward classes) in any stream, from a recognized University. The candidates, who are applying for the part time courses, must have possessed Bachelor's degree with two years of work experience, after completing the graduation.
Admission Procedure:
Post Graduate:
For the full time course, the candidates have to appear in CET conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. Candidates applying for part time courses must appear in GNMAT, which is conducted by the institute. Those scoring the qualifying marks are called for group discussion and personal interview.
Post Graduate Diploma:
As far as the full time course is concerned, the selection criteria is based on candidates' score in CET, CAT, ATMA, MAT, XAT, their performance in group discussion and personal interview. The candidates, applying for part time courses, are enrolled directly into the courses.
