Government B.T College Goalpara (Assam) offers one year Bachelor of Education programme. Established in 1974, the college was set up with an objective of developing trained teacher to meet the requirement of imparting quality education at the secondary and senior secondary level in the region. Affiliated to Gauhati University, the college received approval from the ERC (Eastern Regional Committee) and from the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education), in 2001.
