Government Medical College, Jammu is situated in Bakshi Nagar district, Jammu & Kashmir. Established in 1973, the college is a premier institute for acquiring medical education in the state. It is affiliated to Jammu University. All the available courses are approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and recognized by the state government. Government Medical College Jammu is fully equipped with all the basic and necessary infrastructural facilities. The institute is planning to introduce physiotherapy course shortly. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized Board. For SC/St the qualifying marks should be 40% instead of 50%.
Post Graduate:
MD:
Candidates must have passed M.B.B.S degree from any recognized university with minimum aggregate of 55%.
MS:
Candidates must have passed M.B.B.S degree from any recognized university with minimum aggregate of 55%.
