Government Homoeopathic Medical College Bangalore/Bengaluru, Karnataka, was established in 1986. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The homeopathy college was established with an aim of imparting homeopathic medical education in the state and producing skilled homeopathy doctors. Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College Bengaluru is approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH), New Delhi and recognized by the state government. Its syllabus of BHMS is prescribed by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH). It is also planning to introduce the M.D. (Hom) PG course of 3 years duration, in the near future. Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College offers Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) of 5½ years duration, which includes internship of 1 year duration.
