Government Birla College, situated at Bhawani Mandi, in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan, is a co-educational college run by Government of Rajasthan. The college was started in 1975 as a private college by Birla group to provide value based higher education for the young men and women of the educationally backward region of Bhawani Mandi and its nearby areas. Later in the year 1992, the college has taken over by the State Government of Rajasthan. Government Birla College is affiliated to University of Kota and recognized by UGC. The college offers various undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce faculties. The college also offers post graduate courses in Hindi Literature in self financing scheme.
