Gopal Ramalingam Memorial Engineering College was established by Thiru R. Vivekanandhan under the aegis of Sri Krishna Educational Trust. With the vision of providing technical education and training, the college was started in 2008. The college lies at Panapakkam village, in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu. Gopal Ramalingam Memorial Engineering College is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai and conducts All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE); New Delhi approved undergraduate courses in engineering and technology. Selection is done on TNEA merit basis and as per norms of Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu.
