G. S. Rao Teacher Training Institute

G. S. Rao Teacher Training Institute is affiliated to the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), for imparting the diploma level course. It is a self financing institute. G. S. Rao Teacher Training Institute offers mainly diploma course, D.Ed, of two years. The college follows the rules and regulations laid down by SCERT Andhra Pradesh, for its admission procedure and determining the eligibility criteria for the course.

A candidate who has passed Intermediate Examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent examination recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with 45% of marks, is eligible.

Diploma:
Admission is done through DIET- CET. A candidate, who has cleared the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) - Common Entrance test, is given admission after counseling.
