Fr Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, also called CRCE, is a premier institute for technical education in Maharashtra. The college is located in the commercial capital of India - Mumbai. CRCE was established in 1984, as a part of Fr. Agnel Technical Complex at Bandra, Mumbai, by the Society of St. Xavier Pilar - a public and charitable trust. Affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the college offers engineering courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels.
Fr Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering derives its name from its founder - Late Rev. Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues. The college started its operations by conducting one course - Production Engineering. Initially, only 60 students were enrolled to the course. In 1987, CRCE started offering course in Electronics Engineering as well, with the intake of 60 students. Thereafter, the college started expanding its list of courses offered. It started admitting students to course in Computer Engineering and Information technology in 1991 and 2001, respectively.

Undergraduate:
Candidates must have secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together in 10+2.
Post Graduate:
Applicants must have BE/BTech in the relevant field.

65% of total seats are filled under Maharashtra State Quota (MHT-CET) and 15% are filled through AIEEE under All India Quota. Institute level seats (20% of sanctioned intake) are filled by the college itself.

Post Graduate:
Admissions are made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, Valid GATE score / Entrance test marks, and Interview. The candidate's work experience is given weightage, for part-time courses.
