Located in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Faculty of Law Himachal Pradesh was started in 1971. It is among the oldest institutions of its field in the state. Over the years, the Faculty has been a support for imparting legal education in the state. It aims to provide academic excellence along with practical exposure to the aspirants in order to develop them as proficient and skilled law professionals. Approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi, Faculty of Law Himachal Pradesh offers three-year under graduate bachelor of law (LLB) program, two- year master of law program (LLM) in various specializations and doctorate level law program. The college boasts of providing comprehensive education to the aspirants.

The candidates having LL.M. degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate and a plus B career as per UGC norms are eligible.
