Admission to 80% of the total seats is done the basis of the candidate's performance in Joint Entrance Examination of the State (WBJEE) and 10% seats are filled according to All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) rank.
For admission under lateral entry scheme, the candidate is selected as per his/her performance in Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET).
