Located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, Dronacharya College of Education is among the preferred B Ed colleges of the state. Established in 2006, the college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Northern Regional Committee Jaipur and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla. It has also gained approval from State Government and University Grant Commission (UGC).
