Undergraduate:
Candidates seeking admission in BE/B.Tech courses should have passed the 10+2/HSC examination of the State Board of High Secondary Education of Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent, as approved by Anna University of Technology with 55% (OC), 50% (BC), 45% (MBC), and mere pass (SC/ST) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together. However, they should appear in Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE), All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), or any other state/national level test. Diploma students seeking admission in the second year of BE/B.Tech courses should have secured 60% marks in the fifth/sixth semester of their diploma.
Post Graduate:
ME:
Graduates in relevant stream of engineering from a recognized University/College can apply for the ME courses. GATE pass outs will be given preference.
MBA:
Graduate candidates from any University/College can apply through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or any other national/state level management test.
MCA:
Graduate candidates from any University/College, with mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, can apply through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET).

Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination/entrance test and as per norms set by Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu.

Post Graduate:
Candidates are enrolled on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance examination and according to the norms prescribed by Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu. For MBA, candidates are called for GD/PI session before finalizing the admission.
