Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, which was established in 1998, is a self-financing and co-educational engineering college. Located in Coimbatore, the institute is affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore. Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi.
