Dr. B.S.R. School of Nursing is situated in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council and recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Dr. B.S.R. School of Nursing offers diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 3 ½ years duration. The college is aimed at producing well trained nurses who can provide quality healthcare to the patients. It also provides internship of 6 months during the course, in which students develop their nursing skills under highly skilled faculty.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in science stream or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing or MPHW) or Inter, with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences and should have secured minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In case of SC, ST categories, 5% relaxation is allowed. Candidates should have completed 17 years age and should not have exceeded 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.

Applicants should have passed 10th from any recognized board.
For GNM:
Applicants, who have passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum aggregate of 40% from any recognized Board, are eligible to apply for the course. Candidate must be of 17 years to 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission.
