Daulat Ram College,located in Maurice Nagar, is one of the esteemed women’s colleges of University of Delhi. The institution is the fructification of the efforts made by educationist late Shri Daulat Ram Gupta in 1960. The college was initially named as Pramila College and was located at 22 Tilak Marg, Delhi, in 1964, the college shifted to its present premises in North Delhi University Campus and was re-christened as 'Daulat Ram College'. Since its inception, the college is devoted to the cause of imparting quality education to its students.
At present, Daulat Ram College offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in arts, science and commerce streams. Currently, having 19 departments and over 2500 students enrolled, the college is marked as one of the finest colleges. Besides, conventional courses, foreign languages, both certificate and diploma, Women Studies and Tally course are also offered by the college. Apart from providing academic knowledge, it also encourages its students to participate in extra curricular activities.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board aggregate of best of four subjects including one language is considered while admission. In order to be eligible for Economics course, minimum 50% marks is required in Maths and English both. For Hindi Hons, minimum 65% aggregate marks in Hindi Elective or 75% aggregate marks in Hindi Core is needed along with English as a subject of study at 10+2 level. For Philosophy Hons course, minimum 60% in English and humanities at 10+2 level is required. For History Hons, study of History and English at 10+2 level is compulsory. For Political Science and Sanskrit (Hons), study of respective discipline at 10+2 level is compulsory. In order to be eligible for Psychology (Hons) study of English at 10+2 level is needed.
B. Com. (Hons.)
Candidates need to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board. Aggregate of best 4 subjects including Language are considered, while admission. Study of Accounts and Mathematics at 10+2 level is compulsory.
Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) (Hons) (Zoology & Botany)
A pass in 10+2 in science stream from CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Delhi University with Physics, Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology is required. In addition, the candidate should have scored minimum of 80% marks in Biology at 10+2 level.
Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) (Hons) (Mathematics)
Candidate is required to pass 10+2 in any stream from CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Delhi University with minimum 90% marks in Mathematics.
Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) (Hons) (Chemistry)
Candidates, who have passed 10+2 in science stream from CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Delhi University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a subjects of study, are eligible. In addition, the candidate should have scored minimum of 80% marks in Chemistry at 10+2 level.
Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) (Life Science)
Candidates with pass in 10+2 in science stream from CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Delhi University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mainstream subjects is required.
Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) (Hons) (Biochemistry)
A pass in 10+2 in science stream from CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Delhi University with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/ Biotechnology is required.
B. Com.
Candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, are eligible. Aggregate of best 4 subjects including Language are considered, while admission. Commerce at 10+2 level is compulsory.
Bachelor of Arts (BA)
A pass in 10+2 from CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Delhi University is required. Aggregate of best 4 subjects including Language are considered, while admission.
