Located in Golaghat district of Assam state, College of Teacher Education is a premiere institute of education in the region offering one year Bachelor of Education programme. Established on 12th August 1990, College of Teacher Education, Golaghat was set up with an objective of fulfilling educational requirement of the region. Affiliated to Dibrugarh University, the college found approval from the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) in 2006. Spread over an area of 5 hectares of land, the college has equipped itself with all the necessary facilities. The co-educational institute is functioning under the state Government, under centrally Sponsored Scheme.
