College of Sericulture Chintamani is the sole institute in Asia imparting education in sericulture (process of silk forming) and agriculture. Established in 1995 under the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, the college offers undergraduate courses in sericulture and agriculture and research programs on dry land agriculture, horticulture and other crops. Located in the midst of green and pleasant environment, College of Sericulture Chintamani stands elegantly in Chikkaballapura district of Karnataka and is outfitted with state-of-the-art facilities.
