College of Engineering Thalassery is run by Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), which was set up by the Government of Kerala in 2000. The college conducts undergraduate level courses in several engineering disciplines. College of Engineering Thalassery is affiliated to Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT). Courses offered by the college have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
