College of Agriculture Bangalore was established in 1946 and became a constituent college of University Grants Commission (UGC) approved University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore in 1964. Aspiring candidates should have passed the LS-NET / JRF examination conducted by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Human Recourses and Development.
