College of Agricultural Engineering is one of the four constituent colleges of Punjab Agricultural University. The university was established in 1962, while the college came into existence in 1965. Currently, the college offers technical education in various branches of agricultural engineering.
College of Agricultural Engineering Ludhiana is well known for carrying out programmes at graduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. In 1977, CAE received the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Award, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the field of agriculture.
