The institute is approved by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. CMS Institute of Management Studies offers postgraduate level programme in the field of management - Master of Business Administration (MBA). It is a two-year full time programme, which is offered under the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
