Brahmdevdada Mane Institute of Technology, also known as BMIT, is a premier institution, located in Sholapur, Maharashtra. Established in 2006, it is a private college that came into existence under the aegis of Kai Amdar Brahmdevdada Mane Shikshan Va Samajik Pratisthan. Affiliated to Solapur University, Maharashtra, Brahmdevdada Mane Institute of Technology is managed by Hon. Dilip Brahmdev Mane, a well known MLA of South Solapur. The college is well equipped with all modern infrastructural amenities within a nice and sprawling green campus.
Brahmdevdada Mane Institute of Technology conducts several engineering programmes at undergraduate level, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra. The college also offers post graduation degrees in management studies (MBA). Undergraduate:
Candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics securing minimum 50% (45% for backward class) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. Diploma holders in appropriate branch of engineering obtaining minimum 50% marks are also eligible.
Post Graduate:
Any graduate with 50% of marks in aggregate from a recognized University are eligible for the MBA programmes.

The candidates are admitted on the basis of common entrance test MHT-CET. Candidates who have passed the final year of Diploma course are granted admission directly in the second year.
