Birla Institute of Technology, popularly referred to as BIT, is a premier college for higher education in technical courses, in India. The Rajasthan branch of BIT, located in Jaipur, was established in 1995. BIT Jaipur is an extension center of Birla Institute of Technology Mesra (Ranchi), Jharkhand.
BIT Jaipur currently conducts UG courses in Computer Science and Engineering, as well as Electronics and Communications Engineering. Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration and Computer Application are also offered by BIT Jaipur. For undergraduate courses the eligible candidates must have passed in Class 12 with minimum aggregate 60% (50% for SC/ST) counting all required subjects along with English.
Post Graduate:
M Sc
The eligible candidates must hold a 3 years Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification from any of the recognized Universities. Candidates of B Sc / BA Honors must have minimum 55% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) in their Honours subject as well as in all subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).
MCA
Candidates must hold a recognized Bachelor?s degree or equivalent, in
BCA/B Sc in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ B Sc / BA with Mathematics or Statistics at graduate level. Candidates must have minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average in their Honours subject as well as in all subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).
MBA
The eligible candidate must hold a Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in any discipline by recognized university. Candidates must have minimum 55% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) in their Honours subject as well as in all subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).
