Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, located in Sangli (Maharashtra), started its first academic session in 2008. The college is a constituent part of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune and is permitted by Dental council of India (DCI). Five years of undergraduate degree level Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is offered by the institution, which intends to train aspirants as qualified and skilled dentist. Candidates with pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together are eligible provided they must have completed 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year. Relaxation of 10% is there for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
