Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS), located in Belgaum (Karnataka), came into being in 2006. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi. The institute is managed by State Government of Karnataka. BIMS conducts an undergraduate course in the field of medical science, that is, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
