Undergraduate:
The candidates should be 10+2 passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for undergraduate engineering programs.
Post Graduate:
ME / M Tech
The candidates must be degree holders in the respective field / area for admission in the postgraduate courses.
MCA
The candidate should be Graduate in any one of the Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science subjects or Graduation in any field with Mathematics as a core subject in 10+2 standard.
MBA
The candidates should be Graduate in any field.

Undergraduate:
Admissions in B.E. courses are done through PET, PreMCA and MPMET Examinations conducted by VYAPAM, Bhopal and counseling is completed by Rajiv Gandhi Technical University / RGTU. 10% seats in each engineering branch have been authorized for Diploma holders / B.Sc. in Mathematics for admission directly in second year by counseling.

Post Graduate:
M Tech / ME
The selection depends on merit. GATE qualifiers are preferred. However if GATE qualified candidates are not available, non-GATE qualified candidates may be considered on merit but without any stipend. Few seats are also available for sponsored candidates.
MBA
Admissions in MBA are through the centralized exams conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, M. P. Govt., Bhopal, MET.
MCA
Admissions in MCA are done through the centralized exam Pre-MCA. Entrance Test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, M. P. Govt., Bhopal and through NRI Quota.
