B D Arts College for Women, located in the walled city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, is an aided college. The college was started in the year 1956 by the donation of Sakarlal Balabhai Charitable Trust. The college is well equipped with all infrastructure facilities within a nice and composed campus. The college has first started the PG Center for Home Science in Gujarat in 1961 and since then it is remained as the only PG center in Gujarat University. Affiliated to Gujarat University, B D Arts College for Women is also accredited with a “B” certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate and post graduate courses like B A, M A (Sanskrit), and M A (Home Science). The college also imparts center for M Phil and Ph D in Home Science.
