Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College is located in New Delhi. The college was established in 1921 and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Affiliated to Delhi University, Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of India.
Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College holds the distinction of being the only recognized college in India, where one can study Unani medicines, medical practices and surgery at the same campus. The college was opened in Chandni Chowk, by Hakim Ajmal Khan. Government plans to convert the college into a university.
