Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering & Management is located in Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal. The college came into existence in 2003. It is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology. With the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the college conducts courses in different branches of engineering, at the undergraduate level. In addition to this, Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering & Management is also offering undergraduate level course in business administration and computer applications. MBA is also conducted by the college.

The candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in science stream, from a recognized Board/University.
BBA
The candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination, from a recognized board/university.
BCA
The candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, with Mathematics/ Computer Science/Information Practices as one of the subjects. They must also have passed their matriculation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, with all the subjects.
Post Graduate:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

B Tech
Admission is done through West Bengal Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (WB JEE) or All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), followed by counseling.
BBA
Admission is done on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates at 10+2 level or equivalent qualifying examination. Candidates are short-listed for admission only after counseling.
BCA
Candidates are short-listed on the basis of their merit in 10+2 examination or equivalent, followed by their performance in counseling.
Entrance Test: WBJEE, AIEEE Exam
Post Graduate:
Candidates are selected through CAT/MAT/XAT entrance test, which is followed by group discussion and personal interview.
