Army Institute of Nursing (AIN) Gauhati is one of the renowned colleges in the north eastern part of India. The institute is located in the premises of 151 Base Hospital at Basistha, Gauhati. Established in 2006, the institute is affiliated to Gauhati University, Gwahati, Assam. AIN is recognized by the Indian Council of Nursing (INC). AIN is a constituent part of Army Welfare Education Society, which is running 117 Army Schools and 12 professional colleges, at present. AIN offers a three-and-half year undergraduate course in nursing along with six months of training, (internship).
