Army Institute of Education, located in Delhi Cantt (New Delhi), is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Established in 2003, under the sponsorship of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), it has gained the recognition from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The campus of the college is spread over a sprawling area of 6.6 acre of land in a lush green ambience. One year of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course is offered by the institute exclusively for the wives/ dependant wards of serving/ retired Army personnel including the war widows. With the intention to provide comprehensive education and to produce proficient teachers, Army Institute of Education is equipped with all the basic amenities.
