Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Science, located at Rajampet in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, is one of the renowned colleges of the state. It was established in 1998. The institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur and its Mechanical Engineering department is accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute was incepted by Mr. C. Gangi Reddy, to provide technical education to the students of different academic background.
