Anjuman Degree College for Women, situated at Hubli, Karnataka, was formed especially for the education and development of girl child. Managed by Anjuman-e-Islam, one of the pioneer educational institutions in Karnataka, the college was established ten years ago. Instead of offering traditional arts subjects, they provide degrees in career oriented subjects like Psychology and Education, so that the women will make a respectable career in future. Formerly affiliated to Karnataka University, Anjuman Arts College for Women is now affiliated to Karnataka State Women’s University. The college offers undergraduate courses in Arts subject only. Permitted by Government of Karnataka, the college is going to introduce undergraduate courses in Science subjects very soon.
