Amrita School of Pharmacy was established in 1997. Located in Kochi/Cochin, Amrita School of Pharmacy is recognized by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Earlier, the college was known as Amrita Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Amrita School of Pharmacy functions as a Center of Excellence for higher education in pharmaceutical science. Undergraduate:
A 10+2 pass candidate with Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology combination or Physics, Chemistry, Bio-Technology / Computer, is eligible. The candidate should have attained 50% in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates, minimum marks required are 40%.
Post Graduate:
A B. Pharm pass candidate, from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), is eligible. He/she should have scored at least 50%. Candidates with GPAT score are preferred.
Doctorate:
An M.Pharm candidate is eligible.
Admission Procedure:

Admission is done through Common Entrance Test, known as Amrita entrance that is conducted by the institute itself.
Post Graduate:
Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
Doctorate:
Admission is done as per the norms of the institute.
