Situated in Kochi/Cochin, Kerala, Amrita College of Nursing is affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. The college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) for conducting courses in nursing. Established in 2002, the institute is also approved by Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC). Initially, the college was incepted with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B Sc Nursing) course. The institute started Master of Science in Nursing (M Sc Nursing) in May 2009. The Master's degree programme is conducted in four special disciplines. The disciplines are Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing. The centre has well equipped itself with all the modern facilities, required in pursuit of the programme.
