Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+ 2 level) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 60% aggregate marks in three science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects. He/ she must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard.
B Sc in Nursing - Candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+2 level) or equivalent examination of 12 years duration from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English.
B Sc in Nursing by Distance Education through IGNOU - Candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+2 level) with three years Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery with minimum two years experience in the profession. Male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme must submit a Certificate of completion of a course of 6- 9 months duration approved by INC in lieu of midwifery.
Or
Candidate must pass class 10 (Matriculation or its equivalent with three years Diploma in General.
Or
Nursing Midwifery with a minimum of five years experience in the profession
Post Graduate:
M D / M S – Minimum qualification required is that a candidate must have MBBS Degree from a recognized by the Medical Council of India.
M Ch – Minimum qualification required is that a candidate must have M D / M S Degree from a recognized University.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Admission is done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test followed by an interview.
Nursing:
Admission is done on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidate in the entrance test followed by an interview.
Post Graduate:
Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination.
Doctorate:
