Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering, located in Thiruvallur, Chennai is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai. The college, founded in 2000, is managed by Aalim Muhammed Salegh Trust, established by Alhaj Dr. SM Shaik Nurddin in 1990, with the aim of imparting general, technical, and medical education to the weaker sections of the society and backward communities, in particular. AMS College of Engineering functions through a team of well-qualified and experienced faculty members and is equipped with necessary facilities at the spacious buildings. The college conducts a number of undergraduate and post graduate courses in engineering, technology, and management.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks in subjects PCM from any recognized board/university can apply for the BE/B.Tech courses.
Post Graduate:
MBA:
Candidates who have passed graduation with 45% marks can apply for the course.
MCA:
Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in Computer Application are eligible to apply for the course.
Undergraduate:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the score in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TCET), or its equivalent, and as per the norms of Anna University of Technology, Chennai.
Post Graduate:
Candidates, for the MBA course, will be selected on the basis of their MAT score (management aptitude test) in AIMA test, or its equivalent. Candidates, for the MCA course, will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the graduation.
