Syllabus for KIIT Entrance Examination



KIITEE Management Entrance Examination is conducted every year by KIIT University for admission into Master in Business Administration (MBA) and MBA in Rural Management (MRM) programmes offered in management schools of the University. Scores in the entrance examination and group discussion and personal interview forms the basis for the selection of the candidates.
 
Syllabus for KIITEE
There is no set or pre-determined syllabus for KIITEE Management Entrance Examination. The questions are asked to test the candidate’s arithmetical problem solving, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and English language skills (Grammar & Vocabulary) skills. The questions related to geometry, algebra and statistics are also included.
 
In order to prepare for Quantitative Ability section, practice of Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry questions including questions on Linear and Quadratic Equation, Permutation & Combination, Probability, Logarithm, Simple & Compound Interest, Speed, Profit and Loss, Time and Distance, Percentages, Co ordinate Geometry, Lines, angles, Triangles, Spheres, Rectangles, Cube, Cone etc, Trigonometry and Mensuration can be done.
 
For Analytical Reasoning, questions like identifying next number in series, Identifying Probably true, probably false, definitely true, definitely false kind of statement, identifying Strong arguments and Weak arguments, Coding and decoding, identifying valid inferences etc could be practiced.
 
English, General Knowledge and Issues of Social Concern section could be prepared by reading Newspapers, magazines, competitive books, etc. always be updated with current affairs. For English, practice of basic grammar rules, synonyms, one word substitution could be done.
 
Group Discussion & Personal Interview

Short-listed candidates are required to thoroughly prepare for group discussion and personal interview as well. In order to prepare for GD & PI, the students should gain current knowledge on various Economic, Business and Technology aspects.
