Department of Education, University of Delhi, every year, conducts DU M. Ed Entrance Test for candidates who desire to seek admission into postgraduate Master in Education (M. Ed) course, offered in both full-time and part-time modes. The full-time course is of one year duration, while the part-time M. Ed programme is of two years duration. Final selection of the candidates is determined by their performance in written examination, followed by interview.
Syllabus for DU M Ed Entrance Test
Although there is no pre-determined or set syllabus for DU M. Ed Entrance Test, but candidates who desire to appear for the entrance examination are required to thoroughly prepare the curriculum studied by them in the qualifying examination i.e. at the undergraduate level. Comprehensive understanding of educational theory, research aptitude and analytical and reflective skills related to the contemporary Indian education discourse is required.
Interview
In order to prepare for the interview, the candidates need to have in-depth understanding of the educational theory, research aptitude and the revision of curriculum studied by them in the qualifying examination. The interview will also test the candidate’s expression and communication skills. Therefore, one needs to be confident, fluent in English and up-to-date with current affairs.
