ASSO – CET entrance test is conducted for the admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPTh, BOTh & BSc-Nursing courses, by Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges (AMUPMDC), Maharashtra. The Association conducts entrance test for various private and dental and medical colleges in Maharashtra, which are approved by Dental Council of India (DCI) or Medical Council of India (MCI).
ASSO-CET Syllabus
To prepare for ASSO – CET entrance test, one has to study the same syllabus of Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) / Pre-Medical / Intermediate science or its equivalent, recognized by Maharashtra State Board. All the questions in the entrance test are based on the following science subjects:
Physics
Units and dimensions, kinematics, gravitation, dynamics, collisions and center of mass, elasticity friction, rotatory motion, elements of vectors, surface tension etc.
Chemistry
Atomic structure, classification of elements and periodicity in properties, thermodynamics, electro chemistry, chemical bonding and molecular structure, states of matter: gases, solid state, chemical kinetics etc.
Biology
Taxonomy of plants and animals, microbes in human welfare, ecosystem, cell structure, cell cycle, biotechnology and its applications, nervous system, chemical coordination, photosynthesis, plant growth hormones, environmental issues, molecular basis of inheritance etc.
