Syllabus for AIMCET

All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.It is conducted for admission in a postgraduate programme - Master of Computer Application (MCA). Selection of the candidates to the aforementioned course depends upon their performance in the entrance test.

 

Syllabus for All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET) consists of academic curriculum of Bachelor’s degree and candidate who seeks admission in postgraduate level courses can mainly study for the following topics:

Algebra, Matrices, differential calculus, differential equations, numerical analysis, probability and linear programming

Elements of computers, Number systems, Basic electronic gates, Boolean algebra, Flip-Flops, Algorithmic approach to solve problems and Fundamentals of C language.

System thinking, organizational knowledge, problem identification, problem analyzing and solving

 

General knowledge, current affairs, social development, politics, economy, foreign relations, Social issues, business related topics etc.
