Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M). The entrance test is conducted online for admission to five-year integrated Master's program. The institute generally conducts this entrance test in the month of May at the test centers located in Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Admission to the courses is purely based on the marks obtained by the candidates in HSEE Entrance Exam. IIT - Madras is one of the prominent technological institutes in India. Established in 1959, it has been recognized as 'an institute of national importance' by the Government of India.
