Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination is entrusted to conduct Tripura Joint Entrance Examination, (Tripura JEE). The test is organized for the aspirants, who aspire to study professional degree courses including engineering, medical, agricultural and technological at undergraduate level. The test is conducted for reserved seats for the State of Tripura (excluding seats reserved in REC / NITS) including the seats of Tripura Engineering Colleges.
Examination Pattern
Tripura Joint Entrance Examination, (Tripura JEE) is divided into three groups.
- Group A is dedicated for the candidates, who desire to seek admission into engineering/technological programs.
- Group B exclusively meant for candidates, who aspires to study medical/agricultural programs.
- Group C is designed for the candidates, who want to try their luck in both the above groups.
The examination test of Group A comprises of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic while, the entrance examination of Group B consists of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For Group C, the candidates have to appear in the entrance exam of all four subjects. Each subject of the entrance examination fetches 100 marks in total.
Tripura JEE is conducted in both English and Bengali medium. A candidate can attempt the entrance examination twice in consecutive years.
