SRM University in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, conducts SRM Engineering Entrance Exam, which is commonly referred to as SRMEEE. The entrance examination is the pre-requisite condition to seek admission into undergraduate engineering, technical, Architecture and Designing program along with postgraduate technical, Business Administration, Computer Application, M.S. program in Total Quality Management (TQM), Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and Architecture program.
Examination Pattern for SRMEEE
SRM Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMEEE), is fragmented into four parts-
- Part I- Physics
- Part II- Chemistry
- Part III- Mathematics
- Part IV- Biology
Part-I, Part-II, and Part-III contains 35 questions each of total 105 marks while Part-IV consists of 50 questions of total 105 marks. The entrance exam consists of total 315 marks. Negative marking is there for every wrong answer. One mark is deducted from Part-I, Part-II, and Part-III, for every incorrect answer while every wrong answer from Part-IV fetches minus 0.7 marks.
The entrance examination consists of objective questions with multiple options. The candidates are required to indicate one correct answer in separate OMR sheet. The medium of the test will be English only. Part-I and Part-II are compulsory for every student.
