GMAT entrance exam consists of three main sections- Analytical Writing Assessment, the Quantitative section, and the Verbal section.
Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) includes two separate writing tasks—the first one is analyzing of an Issue and other one is analyzing of an Argument. 30 minutes time is allotted to complete each task.
Quantitative Section consists of 37 multiple-choice questions from Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving. 75 minutes of time is given to complete the entire section. The candidate can ask for optional break before starting the second section.
Verbal Section comprises of 41 multiple choice questions of three types—Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction. Maximum of 75 minutes of time is allotted to complete the entire section. The candidate can ask for optional break before commencing third section.
The first section will contain subjective questions and rest of the two sections consists of multiple choice objective questions.
