COMED-K Undergraduate Entrance Test, which is also known as COMEDK UGET Exam, is conducted for admission to undergraduate level programs in the fields of medical, dental and engineering. The competitive entrance test is conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). All the member institutes of COMEDK admit students on the basis of COMEDK UGET Exam.
Examination Pattern
The competitive entrance test is conducted for those students, who are seeking their admission to MBBS, BDS and BE programs of various institutes in the state of Karnataka. The examination pattern of COMEDK UGET Exam is given in the following lines.
COMEDK UGET comprise of four papers:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Physics and Chemistry combined paper is conducted in the morning, followed by a combined paper of Mathematics and Biology.
- There is no negative marking for a wrong answer attempted by the candidate.
- For MBBS and BDS, the candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in the entrance test (PCB).
- For the SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance test (PCB) is sufficient for MBBS.
