ASSO-CET is a common entrance test, which is conducted by the Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges (AMUPMDC). The Association conducts the entrance test for those students who want admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPTh, BOTh and B.Sc-Nursing courses in various private dental and medical colleges in Maharashtra that are recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI) or Medical Council of India (MCI).
Examination Pattern
The Association conducts ASSO-CET entrance test to make students familiar with all the basics of their chosen program. The examination pattern of the competitive entrance test is as follows:
ASSO-CET Pattern
- The question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions of 200 marks. Each question carries four options and the candidates have to choose correct answer from them.
In ASSO-CET entrance test, the question paper is divided into three parts:
Physics (50)
Chemistry (50)
Biology (100)
- All the questions should be answered by the candidates within three hours.
- For each correct answer, the candidate is awarded with one mark. No mark is deducted of the candidates for each wrong answer.
- All the instructions and questions in the entrance test are only in English medium.
Personal Interview
The candidates who have passed ASSO-CET exam successfully have to appear in a personal interview conducted by the Association. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their performances in ASSO-CET and personal interview.
