Aligarh Muslim University Combined Admission Test (AMU CAT) is a national level entrance test conducted for admission into undergraduate level medical and dental programmes. The students, who are seeking their admission to medical and dental courses, have to obtain qualifying marks in the competitive entrance test. Selected candidates are then called for medical fitness test and counseling, both conducted by the university, for admission. The examination pattern of AMU CAT is given in the following lines.
Examination Pattern for AMU CAT
- AMU CAT question paper consists of objective type questions.
- Each question is given four options to choose from, for the correct answer.
- Candidates are supposed to mark only one answer, because marking more than one answer would be considered wrong and no marks would be awarded.
- There is no negative marking in this entrance test.
